CLEOPATRA VUNGANAI

MRes Student in Molecular Pharmacology and Drug Discovery

Cleo completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at Aston University and is now pursuing a Masters by Research in the Veprintsev Lab. Her research focuses on identifying the key molecular determinants of ligand pharmacological activity on the GPR55 receptor, using a combination of docking and machine learning approaches.

She is eager to expand her expertise in computational drug discovery and experimental techniques, utilizing mini G protein recruitment biosensors to monitor receptor activity. This experience will prepare her for a PhD and a future career in the pharmaceutical industry.
