ASUMAN BUNSUZ

PhD student

Asuman is an expert in computational studies using molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations methods. She received her BSc degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Gebze Institute of Technology in Turkey. She did her MSc in Bioengineering at the Marmara University, in the Computational Biology and Bioinformatics Lab of Assoc. Prof. Pemra Özbek. There, she characterised the dynamics of human leukocyte antigens and peptide binding to major histocompatibility complex (MHC).

In her PhD project, she is studying the molecular basis of efficacy of GPCR pharmacological ligands by combining computational and experimental approaches.
